Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University SRMU is a university in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh, India. The university was established in July 2012 and is governed by two IIT Gold Medalists, ER. Pankaj Aggarwal and his wife, Engg. Pooja Agarwal, she is also the Dean of an AKTU affiliated college named Shri Ramswaroop College of Engineering and Management which is also located in Lucknow.
It has 10 academic institutes, school of diploma, engineering, technology, computer application, biotechnology, pharmacy, agriculture, architecture, management course, commerce, economics, natural sciences, humanities, law, media, education and more than 55 programs in the field of diploma. Huh.
SRMU has associations with the following professional bodies: All India Management Association AIMA, Confederation of Indian Industry CII, The Indus Entrepreneur TiE, National Human Resource Development Network NHRDN and Lucknow Management Association LMA.
University UG Admission
SRM University offers B.A, B.Arch, B.Sc., B.Tech, B.Com, BBA, and LLB degree courses at the undergraduate level. To apply for B.Tech. and B.Sc. course, candidates must have passed class XII or equivalent examination from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and/or Biology as subjects with minimum 45% marks.
Whereas candidates must have passed class 12th in Mathematics or Commerce or with minimum 50%+ in Statistics with minimum 80 marks in NATA to be eligible for B.Arch program. For LLB programme, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks. For all other courses, candidates must have passed class XII or equivalent examination from a recognized board with minimum 45% marks.
Admission to B.Tech program will be done on the basis of marks obtained in JEE Main / UPSEE whereas admission to B. Arch program will be done on the basis of NATA score. Admission to all other undergraduate courses is done on the basis of marks obtained in class XII.
PG Admission
sRM University offers MA, M.Tech, M.Sc., MCA, MBA, LL.M. and Master of Social Work degree course at postgraduate level. Candidates applying for the postgraduate degree program must have a bachelor’s/bachelor’s degree in the relevant subjects or an equivalent qualification with a minimum of 50% or equivalent CGPA in order to apply for the postgraduate degree program.
For m.Tech, M.Sc and MCA programme, candidates must have B.E./B.Tech, B.Sc. Must have a bachelor’s degree. and BCA respectively. Admission to M.Tech program is done on the basis of marks obtained in GATE and personal interview. Admission to mBA program is done on the basis of CAT / MAT / XAT / ATMA / CMAT percentage. Admission to all other postgraduate courses is done on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and personal interview conducted by the university.
Integrated Course Admission
SRM University offers B.Tech + M.Tech Dual Degree Courses in 7 Specializations, B.Tech + MBA Dual Degree Courses in 5 Specializations, BA LLB, B. Com LLB and BBA LLB Degree Courses.
Candidates applying for B.Tech + M.Tech and B.Tech + MBA dual degree program must have Physics, Chemistry Mathematics and/or Biology as compulsory subjects with minimum marks of 45% or 5.0 CGPA. Must have passed 12th class with. ,
University DiplomaAdmission
Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University also offers Diploma courses in various fields.
Candidates must have passed class X or equivalent examination from a recognized board with minimum 45% marks to be eligible to apply for Diploma course. The selection is done on the basis of marks in the qualifying examination. Merit list is prepared for all categories on the basis of applicant’s marks in graduation.
PHD And M.PhilAdmission
SRMU also offers PhD and M.Phil courses. To be eligible to apply for PhD and M.Phil degrees, candidates must have a master’s degree in the relevant subject with a minimum aggregate of 60% or equivalent CGPA.
Candidates will be called for a research aptitude test and personal interview to be conducted by the university. Based on the performance of the applicants in this test, they will be selected for the programme.
Infrastructure / Facilities
A spacious cafeteria is located within the campus for students, teachers and visitors to serve food, snacks, drinks, mineral water etc. The cafeteria is the perfect chill-out zone for everyone at the university. This gives them a place to relax and unwind over a cup of tea/coffee. Extended service hours are maintained to ensure that the students can avail the services as per the requirement.
Hostel
Tor boys and girls are available in separate hostels. All of them are equipped with modem facilities like water purifier, water cooler. Hot water supply, telephone handling, indoor play, gym.
